Manual Degaussers MDS-4 (Formerly TD-4A) Degausser – Continuous Duty in LOW, 50% in HIGH The MDS-4 degausser is designed to erase standard oxide tape. The MDS-4 provides continuous duty degaussing in the low field strength setting and intermittently in the high field strength setting. In LOW the MDS-4 is capable of erasing formats such as VHS, audio tapes, diskettes and 3480 cartridges. In the HIGH setting the MDS-4 will erase media with coercivities up to 950 oersteds, including formats such as 1" reels, U-matic, S-VHS, DAT and 8mm.
MDS-5 (Formerly TD-5) Degausser – Continuous Duty in LOW, 50% in HIGH (Handles DLT and SDLT) The MDS-5 degausser is designed to erase metal particle tape. The MDS-5 provides continuous duty degaussing in the low field strength setting and intermittently in the high field strength setting. In LOW the MDS-5 is capable of erasing formats such as VHS, audio tapes, diskettes and 3480 cartridges. In the HIGH setting the MDS-5 will erase media with coercivities up to 2400 oersteds including formats such as DLT, 2" reel, Beta SP, DVC Pro, and 3490.
Conveyor Belt Degaussers Dataraser CDS-105 Degausser The Dataraser CDS-105 bulk degausser was designed for the data processing and audio tape managers in mind. Capable of erasing up to 10.5 inch diameter reels, the Dataraser CDS-105 will handle data reels, data cartridges, diskettes and audio tapes. Erasure level up to –80 dB (nominal). This degausser WILL NOT erase metal tape formats such as 4mm, 8mm or DAT tapes.
CDS-2500A Degausser – Continuous Duty in LOW, 50% in HIGH (Handles DLT and SDLT) The CDS-2500A is designed to erase all formats of media that are less than 6 inches in width. The degaussing field strength switch provides the option to change between high and low field strengths. In LOW, the CDS-2500A is a continuous duty degausser capable of degaussing over 90 VHS tape per minute without overheating. In HIGH, the CDS-2500A is a high-energy degausser capable of erasing the newest metal tape formats of up to 2200 oersteds.
CDS-4400ED Degausser – Continuous Duty (Handles DLT, SLDT and Hard Drives The Garner CDS-4400ED was designed with a 4000 oersteds degaussing force for degaussing metal particle video tape, data tape and other magnetic media, including hard drives. The CDS-4400ED erases metal particle tape to –80 dB (like new) in 12 seconds or less. The CDS-4400ED also has EMF shielding for reducing radiated EMFs by more than 50% without compromising tape erasing quality or productivity.

The HD-2 also erases high coercivity tape media including all formats of LTO, SuperDLT, DLT, AIT, 8mm, and more, all without adapters.

With a fast 12 second cycle time it is perfect for degaussing large quantities of media quickly and easily. The HD-3WXL erases hard drives and high coercivity tape media including all formats of LTO, SuperDLT, DLT, 9940, 3592, AIT, 8mm, and more, all without adapters.
HDTD-8800 Multimedia Hard Drive Degausser (Also handles DLT, SLDT, LTO and more) The Garner HDTD-8800 is a large capacity Hard Drive and Tape Degausser capable of erasing laptop computers and hot swabbable hard drives. Its lage capacity allows for up to six hard drives to be degaussed as once. Large reels of tape can also be degaussed.
